Ni-Cr-GB, also known as Ni-Hard 3, is known for its excellent wear resistance and toughness, suitable for severe service conditions. This material is characterized by a predominantly martensitic matrix with a substantial volume of chromium carbides, enhancing wear properties while providing reasonable ductility and toughness.
