ASTM A532 Class III Type A, with 25% chromium, is a high chromium white iron widely used for its excellent abrasion resistance and high toughness. This alloy is particularly effective against gouging, grinding, and scratching, making it ideal for environments with severe impact and wear conditions. The high chromium content not only enhances its abrasion resistance but also improves its corrosion resistance, suitable for both wet and dry applications.
